Yes this is a common error faced by many Windows users and the good news is that it can be fixed. However you will need to try each method that i describe below in order to fix it. You don’t need to worry these are very simple steps and hopefully they will fix the issue.

Option#1: In many cases, the .Net framework installed on your PC is causing the trouble. To fix it, download and install the framework from this link:
    LINK

Option#2: It is also possible that the program or data that you are installing got corrupted during installation. In this case, you will have to try to Remove and Re-install the program again.

Option#3: You can also try running the program as an administrator. Sometimes running the program as a normal user or admin can also cause this problem. To run the program as an administrator, simply Right-click on the application shortcut and click on “Run As Administrator”.

Option#4: Restarting your PC might also help fix this problem. Sometimes the files cause problems on running windows because other processes are running. Do try to restart once.

Option#5: If your Windows hasn’t been updated for a long time then perhaps this is the best time to update it. Many corrupt and missing files get fixed automatically when new updates are applied.

Option#6:  Install Microsoft Visual C++ 32-bit or 64-bit depending upon the version of Windows you are running. You can download both from here:
    32-bit LINK
    64-bit LINK

Hopefully after trying these steps the problem will be solved. Do let me know if it gets fixed or if you get in to trouble. Thanks.
